The Barr Brothers Worcester Concert reviews
JILL SCOTT WASN"T WORTH THE WAIT!!!!
The promoters were numbskulls rescheduling this concert from Friday 4/27 to Saturday 5/19 and finally settling on Thursday 6/28 after all the post-poning, non-advertising, and rescheduling of this event. The majority of The Barr Brothers' fans, who are working-class people, don't have the luxury to take off work to drive 60-80 miles 1-way to see a concert, make the same drive back and be to work the following day. I did it because I am a business-owner and have that flexibility to do so. I expected the event to be cancelled due to over 50% of the venue's tickets not being sold for the 6/28 show. If I were The Barr Brothers, I would've given a 1/2 ass performance as well, considering the circumstances. This was by far the worst performance I've seen from her, and it's surprising to admit this due to my loyalty to The Barr Brothers. The promotors and her management really dropped the ball on this one. The first two original dates were practically SOLD OUT! So, why would they move forward with an awkward Thursday show if they were tracking the sales and attendance? Although it was going into the 4th of July holiday, not many people were off, leading to low crowd participation and feeding into The Barr Brothers giving a 1/2 ass show. For future references, please don't schedule another artist of this magnitude on a sucky weekday. She/We deserve a Friday or Saturday. I'm still a faithful follower and will allow her to redeem herself.
